What we want for Ealing
A thriving future
We want Ealing to become once more a successful and attractive place to live, work, spend leisure time or run a business. We fight inappropriate large-scale developments – but we also keeping a check on all planning applications (around 200 a month), to ensure that piecemeal projects don’t eat away gradually at our surroundings. Our Annual Awards recognise and encourage good design in new and refurbished buildings in the Borough.
The best of the past
Our aim is to preserve the best of what we have, and ensure that future buildings make our surroundings even better.
A green and pleasant borough
Ealing is one of the greenest London boroughs and we’re trying to keep it that way.
A place we can all enjoy in peace and safety
We work hard to control the growth of licensed premises in the town centre and the problems this causes. We’ve lobbied successfully for improvements to street lighting and for closed circuit television in the town centre.
