Gunnersbury – what’s going on?

posted in: Conservation | 0

Although it is in Hounslow, Gunnersbury Park is well used by the people of Ealing and was a life saver during the pandemic. Anyone who has visited over the last year or so will wonder what is happening to the small mansion which is covered in scaffolding, when the cafe will be rebuilt following the arson attack, is anything ever going to be done about the historic stables, and what is planned for the future? We have secured the man who can tell us everything we need to know. James Wisdom has been involved with Gunnersbury for many years, is an expert on its history and is Chair of the Friends of Gunnersbury. He is a witty speaker and will be able to give us an up to date briefing on the current situation. Do come and find out. Following its success as the venue for last year’s award ceremony, we will be returning to Open Ealing, Unit 14 School Lane, Dickens Yard, Ealing W5 2TD. The lecture will be held on Tuesday 27 September 2022 at 7.30, and a glass of wine will be available afterwards.
