New plaque unveiled

A new Ealing Civic Society plaque was formally “unveiled” on 16 September to celebrate Ercole James Parlanti (1871 – 1955).  Parlanti lived at 2 Fielding Road W4 and was an artistic bronze founder.  His foundry produced the Peter Pan statue in Kensington Gardens and the RAF memorial on the Embankment. Pictured are his great grandson Wayne Parlanti, Marina Foxlee, the owner of the house, together with Emma Parlanti, a great grand-daughter. A picture of the plaque, plus all the other Society plaques may be seen in the plaques section of our website.  Ealing Nub News have covered our unveiling with more information from Steve Parlanti, Ercole’s great grandson.
