Do you know of any recent design project be it a new building, a refurbishment, an extension or a new landscape which might be worthy of an Ealing Civic Society Award? We’ve been giving out awards since 1989 to recognise and encourage building and environmental projects that make a contribution to the community in our Borough. A Society committee examines entries to select those to be visited by the judges: a panel of architects, planners and landscape architects. Winners receive a certificate and the award winner may display a specially designed Society plaque. Awards will be announced at our Award ceremony on Tuesday 26 October 2021 at 7.30. It will be held at a new venue for us: OPEN Ealing Arts Centre, Unit 14 School Ln, Dickens Yard W5 2TD. One of our judges, Harbinder Birdi, will talk about the shortlisted entries and Chris Griffin, Chief Executive of the Museum of Brands, will present the certificates. The event will be open to all.
