Ealing Council has given formal recognition to the interim neighbourhood forums for central Ealing and West Ealing Centre. This means that both CENF and WECNF are empowered to produce neighbourhood plans for their respective areas. After an official public examination, these will be submitted to referendums of the residents and businesses in the broad areas concerned and then will have the same legal force as the Council’s borough plan. One of the tests for any plan the forums produce will be the extent of public engagement in their formulation. To this end we are inviting members to sign up directly to either or both forums, via their web sites.
