Record numbers turned out to hear John Goldsmith talk about plans for Crossrail and Ealing at the Town Hall on 30 April 2013. Europe’s largest infrastructure project will enable passengers from Ealing Broadway to reach Tottenham Court Road within 14 minutes, Liverpool Street in 19 and Canary Wharf in 26 minutes from 2019. There will be a large number of improvements to stations within the Borough as part of the project. Draft plans for the stations will be available from June 2013.
